“Pohjala” is the collection where it all began.
There is a fascinating forest around our second home in Kuopio, Finland. There bears, lynxes and moose live under a roof of Nordic trees. We were inspired by the this diversity of flora and fauna in the heart of the Nordic region. From this inspiration the simplistic forest animals and trees of the “Pohjala”- collection were born.
The illustrations are as clean and unpretentious as the Nordic nature, and the simplicity and bright colours are designed to spark the interest of children.
